Javier Perianes returns to Oslo for Brahms Piano Concerto No.1
Javier Perianes returns to Oslo this week to perform Brahms’ Piano Concerto No.1 with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra under Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya. He will also return to Oslo in April to perform Brahms’ Piano Concerto No.2 with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra under Eivind Aadland.
Last week Perianes returned to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra stepping in at short notice to perform Brahms’ Piano Concerto No.1 under conductor Leo McFall.
Perianes will continue to focus on Brahms’ piano concertos in June when he performs both concertos in a 2 week residency with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, under Music Director Andrew Gourlay for Concerto No.1, and Pablo González for Concerto No.2.
