Truls then goes on to perform Elgar’s Cello Concerto at the Konzerthaus Berlin (15 November) and in Munich at the Prinzregententheater (18 November) with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Edward Gardner. Between these dates he appears at the Wiener Konzerthaus (17 November) with Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and Vasily Petrenko performing Dvořák’s Cello Concerto.
The last week of November includes a recital at Wigmore Hall with Håvard Gimse on 23 November and concerts with Royal Flemish Philharmonic and Edo de Waart in Antwerp (25 November) and Utrecht (27 November) performing Dvořák.
