Hannu Lintu makes his debut with WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln, conducting the orchestra at Klavier-Festival Ruhr on 4 July. This concert at Philharmonie Essen features Nielsen’s Helios Overture, Grieg’s Piano Concerto (with Igor Levit), and Sibelius’ Symphony No.2.

Following engagements in recent years with MDR Sinfonieorchester Leipzig and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Lintu will conduct the Gürzenich-Orchester Köln in September 2015 in three concerts featuring Grieg and Sibelius.
