Michał Nesterowicz debuts with Münchner Philharmoniker
27/2/2015
In his first appearance with the Münchner Philharmoniker, Michał Nesterowicz conducts works by Weinberg, Berg and Beethoven at the Philharmonie im Gasteig on 5 and 8 March.
Nesterowicz then takes the orchestra to Saarbrücken where they perform at the Congresshalle on 10 March — again conducting Beethoven’s Symphony No.3. On this occasion he is joined by soloist Sol Gabetta in Dvořák’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra.
This debut marks Nesterowicz’s third in Germany this season, having already performed with the NDR Sinfonieorchester Hamburg and the WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln. He returns later this year to conduct the Münchner Philharmoniker again in May.
