Starting this week, Sol Gabetta embarks on a European tour with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Vladimir Jurowski.

Performing her acclaimed rendition of Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No.2, the tour opens in Cologne on 8 December with further concerts in Stuttgart (9), Freiburg (10), Munich (11), Friedrichshafen (12), Hamburg (14) and Madrid (31 January).

Later this week, Sol makes her debut with Staatskapelle Berlin, this time performing Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No.1 under Pablo Heras-Casado at Berlin’s Konzerthaus (15) and Philharmonie (16).
