This week Jörg Widmann makes his debut with Staatskapelle Berlin under Daniel Barenboim, performing his Clarinet Concerto Elegie in two concerts at the Berliner Philharmonie (13 October) and Konzerthaus Berlin (14 October).

He appears again with the orchestra in a chamber concert on 15 October at Schiller Theater Berlin where he performs works by Widmann himself, Mozart, Schumann and Berg with Daniel Barenboim and soloists of the Staatskapelle Berlin.
