Pablo Heras-Casado returns to The Metropolitan Opera

Following an “exciting and insightful” (New York Times) debut with Rigoletto last season, Pablo Heras-Casado returns to The Metropolitan Opera to conduct Richard Eyre’s production of Carmen, opening on 30 September.
Anita Rachvelishvili sings the title role, with Aleksandrs Antonenko as Don José and Anita Hartig as Micaela. Additional performances take place on 4, 9, 13, 17, 23 and 28 October, with the final performance of the run, on 1 November, receiving a Live in HD broadcast into cinemas across the globe.
