One of today’s most exciting rising conductors, Jong-Jie Yin continues to captivate audiences across Europe and Asia.

The season of 2026/27 witnesses his return to Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg since the Karajan Young Conductors Award in 2025, and debuts with Dresden Philharmonie and the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra. Other return engagements include Sinfonia Iuventus and the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, amongst others.

Yin first gained international recognition after winning the 11^th Grzegorz Fitelberg International Competition for Conductors in 2023. Since then, he has established himself as one of the most promising conductors of his generation, leading to a growing number of prestigious engagements across Europe. These include appearances with the Dresden Philharmonie, Camerata Salzburg, NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, Poznań Philharmonic, Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and Symfonia Varsovia, amongst others. He also made his debut at the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw and Kraków in 2025.

In recent seasons, Yin has continued to expand his repertoire, making his debut with the Łódź Philharmonic Orchestra conducting Mahler’s Symphony No.4, and leading the Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra in performances of Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 and Sibelius’ Symphony No.5. He also made his operatic debut with Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito at Baltic Opera Gdańsk.

In his native China, Yin is increasingly in demand as a guest conductor, working regularly with the Shanghai, Guangzhou and Guiyang Symphony orchestras, the NCPA Orchestra and the Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, amongst others. Since September 2023, he has been serving as Assistant Conductor of the China National Symphony Orchestra.

Previously, Yin received a Mention spéciale (with no Grand Prize awarded) at the 57^th Besançon International Competition for Young Conductors in 2021. Alongside his professional career, he continues his studies at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin under the mentorship of Markus Stenz. He participated in masterclasses with Iván Fischer at the Concertgebouworkest and Paavo Järvi at the Pärnu Festival. Yin serves as a Bärenreiter Ambassador since 2025.
