Virtual Circle is a concert streaming and digital content platform built with the classical music industry in mind. We support creative programming on the platform to not only promote the concert but allow audiences to engage with the artists and the performance, by providing a concert ‘look and feel’.
2. Who is behind Virtual Circle?
Leading international classical music agency HarrisonParrott has partnered with 7Digital and eMusicLive to create this new digital concert platform.
3. How do I purchase a ticket?
Visit virtual circle to browse our full concert listings. Click the BOOKNOW button to take you to the concert page. From here click GETTICKET and either log in if you already have an account, or create an account to book your ticket.
4. Can I access the concert hall and features in advance of the concert?
Yes! You can access all of the features on the concert page before the concert takes place. Here you will be able to purchase albums, read the programme notes, click on the resources buttons to find out more about the artists, and use the social media share icons.
5. How do I stream the concert on my mobile phone or tablet?
The concert platform is fully mobile responsive and can be accessed by the URL of the concert page.
6. I did not receive an email confirmation. How do I check whether I have bought a ticket already?
Please test your access to the concert and internet connection in advance to avoid disappointment or technical issues. To watch a live event that you have paid for, you first need to be logged into your emusiclive account. Do this by clicking the link in your payment confirmation and reminder emails and entering your email address and the password that you created when you purchased access. If you log in before the live event starts, the video will display with a countdown timer. As soon as we start our live stream events a logo holding page will appear for approx 1 minute; you don’t need to refresh the page – this will happen automatically. Please be aware that in the unlikely event of technical difficulties, the stream may be disrupted for a short period of time.
8. What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive during the performance, you will not be able to rewind the live stream, but you will be able to watch the remainder of the event.
9. How do I access the concert?
To watch the concert you will need the URL (in your e‑ticket) and you will need to be logged into your account.
10. Can I watch the concert on more than one device?
No, only one device can be logged into your account to watch the concert.
11. How long are the concerts available for?
Videos are only available for the duration of the concert.
12. Is the performance actually live or pre-recorded?
This will be indicated in the performance programme notes.
13. Is there an app for the platform?
At the current time there is no app for the platform.
14. The concert video on my computer/laptop/mobile is blurry. What is causing this?
Vimeo sets the video quality according to the user’s connection so people on their phone will naturally see a lower quality video because they’re on a mobile network that has a weaker connection than a PC on Wi-Fior hardwired computer. To have a great concert experience please ensure you are able to access a strong internet connection.
15. Do I have access to the Chat?
Yes, the chat function is on the right-hand side bar. You will see a red dot next to the chat icon to indicate that there are messages in the chat. Click on the chat icon to reveal the chat stream.
16. Can I buy albums inside the platform?
Yes you can buy high resolution download albums from the performers inside the platform without having to leave the performance.
17. Can I watch the concert in my time zone?
Each concert listing will indicate which time zones are available. Click the correct time zone link for your region to purchase a ticket.
18. How do I watch the performance on my TV screen?
Using a Chromecast dongle:
Step 1: Plug in your Chromecast device. Plug Chromecast into your TV, then connect the USB power cable to your Chromecast. Plug either the other end of the USB power cable into an open USB port on your TVOR into the included power adaptor which you will then plug into a power socket. Note: Only use the provided AC adaptor.
To stop streaming video, click in the video playback controls, then choose Turn Off AirPlay.
19: Cancellations and Changes to Performances
Once you have purchased a Ticket, it cannot be exchanged or refunded except in the following circumstances:
If a Performance is cancelled by eMusic Live, we will arrange for the full refund to Ticket holders. We aim to do this within seven (7) working days of the date of cancellation.
If a Performance is postponed, Ticket holders will be given the option to either exchange their existing Ticket for a new Ticket for the rescheduled event date or receive a full refund.
If eMusic Live becomes aware of any significant changes to a Performance, we will:
Send a message to the mobile phone number or email address specified by you when registering with the Services informing you of the change; and
Inform you about any procedure for reimbursements and refunds, where appropriate.
We will not reimburse the cost of purchased Tickets after a Performance has taken place. You will not be entitled to a refund if you fail to view a Performance or make an error when purchasing Tickets (for example you buy the wrong quantity).
Any Tickets purchased are exempt from and will not be subject to any “cooling off” or cancellation rights arising from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (or equivalent) in the applicable territories.
