HarrisonParrott is delighted to welcome American-Canadian conductor Kyrian Friedenberg to its roster for worldwide general management. 

Friedenberg came to international attention after winning the 2022 Neeme Järvi Prize at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival and has since received Solti Foundation U.S. Career Assistance Awards in 2024 and 2025. In 2025, he was a Grand Finalist of the 59^th Besançon International Competition for Young Conductors. 

Highlights of the 2026/27 season include debuts with SWR Symphonieorchester Stuttgart, Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, MDR-Sinfonieorchester Leipzig, Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse as well as an opera production at the Opéra de Toulon. In the previous season, he made a notable debut with Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and the Chœur de Radio France for the opening of the Présences Festival.

A former Assistant Conductor of Pierre Bleuse at the Ensemble Intercontemporain, Friedenberg has a particular affinity for contemporary music, while his artistic interests also extend to historically informed performance and Baroque repertoire. His broad musical interests and growing international profile position him as an exciting voice among the next generation of conductors.
