Xavier de Maistre joins Festival Strings Lucerne and Artistic Director Daniel Dodds for a tour across Germany, Austria and Switzerland this December. Performing in some of the most prestigious concert halls, the programme features Handel’s Harp Concerto – an arrangement of the original organ concerto – alongside François-Adrien Boieldieu’s Harp Concerto in C major, among other works.

The tour begins at the Brucknerhaus in Linz on 7 December, before moving to Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie on 8 December and Frankfurt’s Alte Oper on 9 December. Audiences in Switzerland can enjoy performances at KKL Luzern on 10 December and Olten’s Stadttheater on 11 December. The ensemble then returns to Germany for appearances at Braunschweig’s Staatstheater on 13 December, Berlin’s Konzerthaus on 15 December, and Köln Philharmonie on 16 December, concluding at Stuttgart’s Liederhalle on 17 December.
