Alban Berg’s Wozzeck has its Chinese Premiere in concert version on 11 October at Shanghai Symphony Hall with Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, joined by Michael Schade as Hauptmann, Magdalena Anna Hofmann as Marie, Robin Adams as Wozzeck, Samuel Sakker as Tambourmajor, Sami Luttinen as Doktor, Hugo Kampshreur as Andres, Lotte Verstaen as Margret, Rueben Mbonambi and Leander Carlier as Handwerkburschen. 

A revival of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen’s production directed by Johan Simons will go to Beijing Music Festival on 18 October at Beijing Poly Theatre to complete Wozzeck’s Chinese opera premiere. Set Designer Sammy Van den Heuvel, Costume Designer Greta Goiris, Lighting Designer Friedrich Rom, and Shanghai Symphony will be joining the cast in action. HarrisonParrott is delighted to work as International Project Manager for this production.
