During October, Samuel Lee returns to Europe to conduct the Stuttgart Philharmonic, Tonkunstler Orchestra, and Aarhus Symphony Orchestra. With Stuttgart Philharmonic he conducts works by Mozart, Dukas, Stravinsky, and is joined by Christian Segmehl for Karl Jenkins’ Saxophone Concerto on 17, 18 and 19 October. On 25 and 26 October, he appears with the Tonkunstler Orchester conducting Beethoven’s Symphony No.2, and Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto with Amira Abouzahra. He rounds off October in Denmark with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra. On 30 October, he conducts Schumann’s Symphony No.4, Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with Alexander Sitkovetsky, and new arrangements of Fanny Mendelssohn and Clara Schumann by Juliana Hodkinson.
