Ava Bahari returns to the Swedish Chamber Orchestra on 4 September, for the world premiere of Annamaria Kowalsky’s Violin Concerto No.1, commissioned specifically for Bahari. This follows Bahari​’s recent engagement with the orchestra, where she performed the Swedish premiere of James Macmillan’s Violin Concerto No.2, under the baton of Brett Dean.

Conducted by Nicholas Ellis, the programme also includes Sergei Prokofiev – Symphony No.1 and Ludwig van Beethoven – Symphony No.2.

Later this season, Bahari performs the same concerto with Västerås Sinfonietta in April 2026.
