On 17 May, Aurel Dawidiuk conducts Mahler’s Symphony No.5 in a version for chamber orchestra featuring Camerata RCO at the Muziekgebouw aan ​‘t IJ, Amsterdam.

Aurel Dawidiuk is the first Associate Conductor in the history of Concertgebouw Orchestra. The Associate Conductorship is named after Bernard Haitink, whose Mahler interpretations performed with the Concertgebouw Orchestra are legendary. Following Dawidiuk’s first season as Associate Conductor, this concert marks his début with the orchestra.
