During August, soprano Mari Eriksmoen keeps vocal music alive and joins four festivals in selections of Mozart, Beethoven, Grieg and Canteloube. First up is the Opening Concert of the reimagined Nordland Musikkfestuke on 1 Aug, performing Beethoven and Grieg songs on Bodø Harbour and livestreamed on the Festival’s Facebook page. Then on to Handel and Mozart arias at the Stavanger Chamber Music Festival on 8 August with the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and Jan Willem de Vriend, and returning to her hometown for Canteloube’s Chants d’Auvergne with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra under Fabio Luisi on 19&20 August. Finally, Mari travels to Germany to sing Beethoven’s Ah! Perfido and Mozart arias and duets in Lübeck on 30 August with Thomas Hengelbrock and Balthasar-Neumann-Chor as part of the open-air Schleswig-Holstein Festival.
