Patrick Hahn, Nobuyuki Tsujii and Lucienne Renaudin Vary join forces on a Japanese tour
Three HarrisonParrott artists go on a Japanese tour with the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa this summer. Conductor Patrick Hahn makes his anticipated debut in Japan, joined by trumpeter Lucienne Renaudin Vary and pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii. Before the tour kicks off on 17 July in Takayama, Lucienne performs a recital with pianist Ryoko Sawaki, at the Musashino Civic Cultural Hall on 13 July. The musicians then travel to Kanazawa, Tokyo (Suntory Hall and Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall), Karuizawa, Akita, Sendai, Morioka and Aomori. The programme includes Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No.1, Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto, Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.27; and other works by Bartók and Tchaikovsky.
