Oleg Tsibulko makes his role debut as the Emperor in Stravinsky’s Le Rossignol in his first appearance with the Canadian Opera Company. Music Director Johannes Debus conducts Robert Lepage’s acclaimed production from 13 April to 19 May.

Oleg will return to Toronto next season as Prince Gremin, a role he has performed most recently for Opéra de Nice, Teatr Wielki and Angers Nantes Opéra. Elsewhere Oleg continues to expand his repertoire, with recent highlights including Le coq d’Or at the Concertgebouw under Vasily Petrenko and his first performances of Verdi’s Messa da Requiem with the Noord Nederlands Orkest.
