Maarten Engeltjes joins HarrsionParrott for General Management

We are delighted to announce that Dutch counter-tenor, Maarten Engeltjes has joined HarrisonParrott for General Management.
Engeltjes has an enviable reputation both in the Netherlands where he works regularly with Ton Koopman and the Amsterdam Baroque Soloists, and also with Peter Dijkstra and Nederlands Kamerkoor and also elsewhere where he has appeared with the Staatskapelle Dresden under Vladimir Jurowski (Lera Auerbach’s Dresdner Requiem), Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin conducted by Daniel Reuss (Bach’s B minor Mass), Les Arts Florissants and William Christie (Bach’s Weihnachts-Oratorium), Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia (Messiah), Münchner Philharmoniker and Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich (Bach’s Johannes-Passion), and Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra under Juanjo Mena (Bach’s Magnificat).
Current season highlights includes Johannes-Passion with Koopman and Amsterdam Baroque Solosits, B minor Mass with William Christie and Les Arts Florrissants, he sings the role of David in Handel’s Saul with the Israel Camerata conducted by Avner Biron, and he appears with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Peter Dijkstra for a performance of Handel’s Solomon.
