Hannu Lintu debuts with Singapore Symphony Orchestra
Hannu Lintu makes his long-awaited debut with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra this month, conducting a Russian-Polish programme at the Esplanade Concert Hall on 14 October. Featuring fellow HarrisonParrott artist Stephen Hough for a performance of Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.1, the concert opens with Lutosławski’s Symphony No.4 and concludes with Shostakovich’s Symphony No.1.
Lintu returns to the Far East in November 2017 to conduct the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony and Hiroshima Symphony orchestras.
