This week the Japanese violinist Sayaka Shoji embarks upon a tour of Korea.
On 23 September she performs Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No.2 with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Lahav Shani. After this concert she then gives three recitals in Seoul, Busan and Ulsan with the Korean pianist Yeol Eum Son.
Forthcoming highlights for Sayaka include concerts with Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France under Osmo Vänskä and NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester under Krzysztof Urbański.
