Esteemed bass, Ain Anger, makes his role debut as Cardinal Brogni in Calixto Bieito’s new production of La Juive for the Bayerische Staatsoper. Conducted by Bertrand de Billy, performances open on 26 June.

Later this summer, Ain will return to the BBC Proms as Pimen (Boris Godunov) under Sir Antonio Pappano, following acclaimed performances onstage at Covent Garden earlier this season.
