Golda Schultz debuts in Mozart’s Così fan tutte
11/9/2015
Following a successful Salzburger Festspiele debut as Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier) and further strengthening her reputation as one of today’s most exciting artists, Golda Schultz makes her role debut as Mozart’s Fiordiligi this week. Performances of Marco Štorman’s production of Così fan tutte for Stadttheater Klagenfurt run from 17 September to 5 November and are conducted by Alexander Soddy.
A member of the Bayerische Staatsoper, the role of Fiordiligi is one of Schultz’s commitments in Munich this season in addition to Micaëla (Carmen) and her debut as Liù (Turandot). The summer of 2016 heralds Golda’s first appearance at the Glyndebourne Festival as Contessa Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) — one of her most frequently performed roles, including her successful debut at Opernhaus Zürich.
