On 24, 25 and 27 January Lisa Batiashvili returns to Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome to perform Sibelius’ Violin Concerto in concerts that mark her first collaboration with Sir Antonio Pappano.

The performances, which also feature Mussorgsky’s Pictures of an Exhibition and Dukas’ L’apprenti sorcier, are filmed for delayed broadcast by RAI 5 and other TV stations across Europe. The programme will also be broadcast by RAI Radio 3 on 5 February.

Lisa joins the orchestra and Pappano again later this spring for performances of the same concerto in Frankfurt (2 March) and Essen (6 March).
