As a current member of the Bayerische Staatsoper ensemble, Golda Schultz performs Micaëla in Carmen at the Nationaltheater from 19 December under the direction of Omer Meir Wellber.

Further Munich performances this season from the South African soprano include Musetta (La bohème), Inez (Il trovatore) and Freia (Das Rheingold).

Elsewhere in Europe, Golda continues to enjoy a rapidly rising profile with upcoming performances at both the Salzburger Festspiele, as Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier) with Franz Welser-Möst, and Staatsoper Hamburg under Music Director Simone Young as Sibilla in the world premiere of Beat Furrer’s la bianca notte.
