Georgia Jarman makes her company debut at Opéra National de Bordeaux as Musetta

Following a number of distinguished performances in the lyric repertoire, Georgia Jarman debuts at the Opéra National de Bordeaux as Musetta in Laurent Laffargue’s production of La bohème. Conducted by the Music Director of the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine, Paul Daniel, the opening performance on 26 September will be streamed live in cinemas across France.
Georgia’s recent highlights in the USA and Europe include her role debut as Gilda (Rigoletto) for Caramoor Music Festival, Maria Stuarda for Washington Concert Opera, Manon at Malmö Opera and an outstanding debut for English National Opera singing all four heroines in Richard Jones’ acclaimed production of The Tales of Hoffmann.
From Bordeaux, Georgia goes on to make two significant debuts this season, as Roxana in Kasper Holten’s new production of Szymanowski’sKról Roger at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, and as Gilda in Lee Blakely’s new production of Rigoletto at Santa Fe Opera.
