Paavo Järvi conducts the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig in two concerts on 16 & 17 January. The programme features Prokofiev’s Symphony No.6 and Debussy’s Prélude à L’Apres-midi d’un faune.

Janine Jansen is soloist in Szymanowski’s Violin Concerto No.1. Regular collaborators for a number of years, recent highlights of their collaborations include a televised concert at the BBC Proms and the opening of the season with Orchestre de Paris.

The concert will be recorded by MDR Figaro for deferred broadcast on 21 January.
