Richard Dubugnon​’s Helvetia, III — Jugendfeuer premieres on 13 September at Tonhalle Zürich with Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, along with current and former Swiss Youth Music Competition (SJMW) winners, under the direction of David Bruchez-Lalli. This 20 minute work is commissioned by SJMW for their 50^th anniversary concert.

Dubugnon explains that ​“this work is the third in a series of symphonic tableaux depicting different aspects of Switzerland that have been important in my life: its history, its nature, its people, its towns and villages…Having had the pleasure of sitting on the juries of the Swiss Youth Music Competition for several years, I am always fascinated by the passion, virtuosity, and talent of young people in our country. Helvetia III – Jugendfeuer / The Fire of Youth is written to pay tribute to these child musicians.”
