Dani Howard​’s new solo percussion piece for Colin Currie entitled ​‘Vasa’ premieres at Wigmore Hall on 26 May. The piece is performed alongside a contemporary programme of solo percussion works by Kevin Volans, David Horne, Tansy Davies, Andy Akiho, Toshio Hosokawa and Iannis Xenakis.

Currie performs the US Premiere of the work in a recital at Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival later in the season on 7 August.

‘Vasa’ was jointly commissioned by Wigmore Hall and Colin Currie.
