Underpinning everything we do is a shared culture, a common set of values and a tenacious curiosity – what might be described as ‘Our Approach’. It is what unites the wide range of individuals from many different backgrounds that make up HarrisonParrott. Watch the videos on this page to meet some of the personalities behind the company.
Innovation, expertise and responsiveness have been the hallmarks of HarrisonParrott ever since its foundation. Setting up their own agency in 1969, Jasper Parrott and Terry Harrison pioneered a new approach to management – one which was intensive, international, and centered around the needs and aspirations of the artists.
Today, that restless and challenging spirit is as strong as ever, shared across one of the most experienced teams in the business.
International artist management has always been at the core of our business. We are proud to represent an exceptional list of performers, from emerging talent to the internationally renowned. We are committed to helping them forge distinctive careers as concert and recording artists, tailoring our work to their individual needs and aspirations. Similarly, our relationships with promoters are characterised by trust, integrity and partnership.
We develop and deliver tours and residencies for a host of prestigious clients across classical and world music, dance and theatre. Our geographical reach spans every continent, and we have a particular expertise working in emerging markets. We also ensure each tour helps achieve our client’s strategic objectives, creating lasting impact at home and aboard. For venues and festivals, we help source exciting programming and content that compliments their artistic vision and audience development.
We work with a wide range of cultural institutions to help them develop exciting content, realise innovative projects, and formulate creative responses to the challenges they face. Drawing upon a wealth of experience and expertise across the company – including artistic planning, tour and project management, marketing, sponsorship, IT and finance – we put together a bespoke team for each project to work in partnership with all stakeholders to set out objectives and deliver real change.
Carefully selected brand partnerships are an attractive proposition for artists, allowing them to reach wider audiences, generate additional income and fund specific projects that are close to their hearts, such as recordings, tours or education and outreach projects. With our network of corporate contacts across a wide range of industries we help artists develop business relationships with companies whose values and profile are closely aligned with their own, and where the partnership can deliver commercial and PR rewards to both sides.
The corporate sector plays a crucial role in supporting and promoting the Arts globally; the most successful cultural organisations are those who engage proactively, strategically and creatively with the sector. As well as securing sponsorship, in cash and in-kind, for specific projects and tours, we work with a range of clients to support them through the whole cycle of sponsorship acquisition, delivery and stewardship - from understanding how to value and market their assets, to helping them research and pitch suitable companies and deliver against sponsor objectives.
Supporting the Arts provides an invaluable way for companies to strengthen their brand, reach new clients and reward existing ones, engage employees, meet their corporate social responsibilities and stand out from the competition. Thanks to our extensive network in the global cultural community and our in-depth understanding of how to leverage sponsorships, we develop mutually-beneficial partnerships that enable innovative cultural projects to take place while delivering substantial benefits to the supporting companies.
Effective marketing and promotion is an important component in any career. We help artists develop a strategy that plays to their strengths, offering guidance on photography, PR, websites and social media. We also design and produce a range of print and digital materials to support tours and projects. Our understanding of media rights and recording helps clients navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by a rapidly changing industry.
We feel it's vital to support and nurture young talent. That's why we set up the HP International Arts Trust, and partner with Polyarts through their Talent Development Programme.
We also support our staff in their charitable work - not just financially, but in providing a flexible working environment that gives them time to help the good causes they feel passionate about.
