Perry So debuts with Houston Symphony
20/11/2015
Perry So steps in for Long Yu to make his debut with the Houston Symphony in three concerts from 27 – 29 November. He is joined by soloist Stephen Hough to perform Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No.5, and the rest of the programme features selections from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet and Li Huanzhi’s Spring Festival.
These concerts follow on from Perry’s successful return to the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra in October, where he conducted two concerts which included repertoire by Sibelius, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev and South African composer Bongani Ndodana-Breen.
