Overview
Based in The Hague, the orchestra regularly tours in both the Netherlands and abroad. HarrisonParrott were delighted to collaborate with the orchestra on their debut tour to China under the baton of their celebrated Chief Conductor, Neeme Järvi in September 2009. The Orchestra appears at the 13th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen as a cultural gesture of friendship followed by concerts at the Shanghai Concert Hall and the prestigious National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. The Orchestra performed Liszt's First Piano Concerto with one of China's most popular and successful classical artists, Ying Feng, before returning to The Hague to give a repeat performance for the State Opening of Parliament at the Prinsjesdag Concert on 15 September which also launched their 2009/10 season.
