In the 2008/9 season, Sakari Oramo will take up his post as Chief Conductor and Artistic Advisor of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. This Orchestra has had its home in the Stockholm Concert Hall since 1926 and participates annually in the Nobel Prize Ceremony, conducted in its own hall.
HarrisonParrott is working closely in partnership with the orchestra in devising a touring strategy to continue to develop the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic’s international prestige and renown, with Sakari Oramo at the helm.
