Celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2006, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra continues to maintain the legacy of its founder, Sir Thomas Beecham, by offering audiences in the UK and abroad the highest possible standards of music-making, accompanied by some of the most acclaimed artists of the day.
