HarrisonParrott played a central role in the concept development and project management of the Japan Festival 1991, the biggest festival devoted to the arts and history of a foreign country ever to be presented in the UK.
Among the projects arranged by us were Noh Theatre, Bunraku, a tour by the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and a wide range of fine arts exhibitions and special events.
10 years later HarrisonParrott managed the PR work for Japan 2001 - the enormously successful celebration of Japanese culture that reached over 3 million people around the UK, and featured a Matsuri in Hyde Park that attracted around 80,000 visitors.
