"A spicy, simmering stew of Brazil's African, Arabic, and European influences" – The Times, London
Combining amazing physical athleticism, stunning visual images and joyous choreography, Brazil's foremost contemporary dance company Grupo Corpo gave their first major tour of the UK in May. Venues included Sadler’s Wells, London, Brighton Dome, Birmingham Hippodrome, Sheffield Lyceum, Nottingham Playhouse and Wycombe Swan. Founded in 1975 by Paulo Pederneiras and his brothers, and still very much a family affair, Grupo Corpo is now widely regarded as one of the world’s finest dance companies. HarrisonParrott's plans for Grupo Corpo include a return visit to the UK, as well as a major tour of Japan and South East Asia.
