The Budapest Festival Orchestra was founded by Iván Fischer over 20 years ago and has created an outstanding reputation for itself through recordings and numerous international tours.
HarrisonParrott is thrilled to have a long-standing and on-going collaboration with this acclaimed partnership, working together on touring projects both in Europe and in South America. Most recently the orchestra has performed at the BBC Proms and the Edinburgh International Festival in both 2000 and 2003. The latter year also saw the BFO's debut tour to South America including two concerts at the world famous Teatro Colon, Buenos Aires, a concert in Rosario, Argentina, a concert in Montevideo, Uruguay and two concerts in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Following the huge success of their first tour to South America, plans are well underway for a return visit as well as further returns to major European festivals and other European main season tours.
