Tamara Stefanovich in Italy, the Netherlands and the US
Tamara Stefanovich ventures on a dynamic season which includes a solo recital at Teatro alla Scala featuring works by Stockhausen and Messiaen on 9 October, followed by a performance with the Asko|Schönberg ensemble and Reinbert de Leeuw at the Muziekgebouw Amsterdam on 13 October.
The performance in Amsterdam features Kurtág’s Quasi una fantasia which Tamara recorded earlier this year as part of ECM'S complete recording of Kurtág's works to be released on CD.
Stefanovich will then embark upon a tour of the United States performing recitals at Cornell University, Ithaca (4 November) and in Bellingham (15 November). From 7 to 13 November she will also be involved in masterclasses, recitals and lectures as part of the Portland Piano International festival ‘The Clearing’, which she co-founded and curates.
