Case Scaglione makes his Scandinavian debut with Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra
On 30 April Case Scaglione makes his Scandinavian debut with the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra. The programme opens with Stravinsky’s Jeu de cartes, followed by Britten’s Les Illuminations with the orchestra’s Artist-in-Residence - soprano Eir Inderhaug - and closes with Beethoven’s Symphony No.6.
This concert follows a number of well-received performances in the United States for Case, including engagements with the Dallas and Jacksonville symphony orchestras and the New York Philharmonic. One reviewer commented “The fastidious direction by Case Scaglione…yielded skilled and sympathetic performances. Let’s hope we see more of him” (Scott Cantrell, Dallas Morning News).
