Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra completes tour
The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, with Chief Conductor, Vasily Petrenko, have completed their seven concert European tour. From Aix-en-Provence to Paris, Freiburg, Luxembourg, Mannheim, Stuttgart and finally Regensburg they gave seven stirring performances in seven days of Tchaikovsky’s Manfred Symphony, further justifying the Gramophone award that they received for their recording of the same work. They were joined by Hélène Grimaud who performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23.
