Pablo Heras-Casado debuts with Dallas Symphony Orchestra, alongside Jean-Yves Thibaudet
Pablo Heras-Casado debuts with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, conducting a programme of all-French works. Together with guest soloist and frequent collaborator Jean-Yves Thibaudet, performing Ravel’s Piano Concerto for the Left Hand, concerts take place on 19, 20, 21 and 22 October and include other works from Ravel and Debussy.
A recording of one of these performances will be broadcast afterwards on local radio and will be subsequently available to stream online for seven days on the Dallas Symphony Orchestra website.
Previously, the LA Times has written about the pair’s performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic: “Heras-Casado surrounded Thibaudet’s familiarly crystalline style in an orchestral setting of clean modernity.”
