11 February 2015

HarrisonParrott is delighted to welcome Japanese violinist Fumiaki Miura to its roster for general management.

The youngest ever winner of the Joseph Joachim Hannover International Violin Competition and a well known artist in his native Japan, Fumiaki is already developing an impressive career internationally and has performed with several leading orchestras and conductors - Prague Philharmonia (Jakub Hrůša), Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra (Rafael Payare), Radio-Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart des SWR (Stéphane Denève), NDR Sinfonieorchester Hamburg and Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra (Kazushi Ono).

Acclaimed for his “supreme technique” (Arts and Opinion) in traditional repertoire, Fumiaki also champions a number of contemporary works including Krzysztof Penderecki’s Double Concerto, which he regularly plays with Julian Rachlin.
