Soprano Audrey Luna joins HarrisonParrott for European management
HarrisonParrott is delighted to announce that soprano Audrey Luna has signed with the company for European management, in collaboration with Barratt Vantage Artists in New York.
Audrey Luna came to international attention with a stand-out performance as Ariel in Thomas Adès’ The Tempest at The Metropolitan Opera. In its review of the 2012 production the New York Times commented that: “Mr. Adès’ Ariel is a dazzling creation, and Ms. Luna conquers the role.”
At home in both classical and contemporary repertoire Audrey Luna's stratospheric range and blazing coloratura have been widely acclaimed. In the 2013/14 season she has returned to The Met as Fiakermilli (Arabella), sung Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos) for Virginia Opera and made her debut in Dublin as Madame Mao in John Adams' Nixon in China. Next season she will make her role debut as Olympia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) in Oslo and New York, and will debut at the Wiener Staatsoper, as Ariel in The Tempest.
