Perry So makes his debut with the Residentie Orkest

2 September 2013

Perry So makes his debut with the Residentie Orkest in two concerts on 7 & 8 September. He conducts Prokofiev’s Symphony No.1, the Nocturne from Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Beethoven’s Egmont Overture on both dates. On 7 September, at the Parktheater, Den Haag, the programme also features Beethoven’s Romance No.2 and Saint-Saëns’ Introduction and Rondo capriccioso - both with violinist Noa Wildschut as soloist. On 8 September, at Dr. Anton Philipszall, the Saint-Saëns and Beethoven Romance are replaced in the programme by Ravel’s Tzigane, with soloist Lucian-Leonard Raiciof.

Next month, So makes another debut appearance – with the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, opening the orchestra’s season in a programme of Rachmaninov & Shostakovich.
