Paavo Järvi leads Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra on Asian tour

The Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra tour Japan and Korea in ten concerts throughout May and June under their Music Director Paavo Järvi.

Journeying to nine venues, the tour will feature pianist Alice Sara Ott and includes performances in Sapporo's "Kitara" Hall (31 May), Yokohama's Minato Mirai Hall Hall and Nagoya's Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater, as well as Tokyo's Suntory Hall.

Performing a variety of works by composers including Liszt, Mahler, Mendelssohn and Bruckner, the tour concludes in June at Seoul's spectacular Arts Center with a programme featuring Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with soloist Hilary Hahn and Mahler's Symphony No. 5.
