Nikolai Lugansky signs to HarrisonParrott
Pianist Nikolai Lugansky has signed to HarrisonParrott for worldwide general management.
An artist of extraordinary depth and versatility, Lugansky is invited by the top international orchestras including the Philharmonia Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, Münchner Philharmoniker, Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Russian National Orchestra; he collaborates with conductors as diverse as Charles Dutoit, Vladimir Jurowski, Emmanuel Krivine, Kent Nagano, Kurt Masur and Sakari Oramo.
Forthcoming engagements include recitals at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris and London’s Southbank Centre, as well as tours of Europe (with the Philharmonia Orchestra), North America (with the St Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra) and Asia (in various concerts and recitals). This summer he’ll return to the BBC Proms and later this year Deutsche Grammophon will release a disc of chamber music recorded together with Vadim Repin.
Building on an award-winning discography for Warner Classics, Lugansky’s latest solo release is an all-Chopin recital for Onyx Classics which The Guardian described as “unquestionably thrilling”.
