Javier Perianes tours Australasia

This week Javier Perianes embarks on a five week concerto tour of Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, having just performed hugely successful debuts with The Cleveland Orchestra at the Blossom Festival and the New York Philharmonic at Bravo! Vail.
The tour begins in Perth with performances of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3 with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and Simone Young (29 & 30 July). He continues the tour throughout August with concerts with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra performing Grieg’s Piano Concerto (5 August), Auckland Philharmonia performing Bartók’s Piano Concerto No.3 (11 August) and Queensland Symphony Orchestra performing Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No.5 (19 August). Perianes’ tour finishes with a performance of Grieg with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra under Michał Nesterowicz on 26 August.
In Auckland, Javier also appears in recital for the Fazioli Concert Series offering a programme of Schubert, Falla and Debussy.
