Nikolai Lugansky performs Tchaikovsky at the Paris Philharmonie
10/4/2015
Nikolai Lugansky performs Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concertos Nos.1 and 2 at Paris Philharmonie’s new hall with the Russian National Orchestra. The concerts, on 13 and 14 April, are preceded by a performance in Moscow on 7 April.
Following the concerts in Paris, Lugansky travels to Berlin to perform Grieg’s Piano Concerto with the Deutsche-Symphonie Orchester Berlin and Kent Nagano – the same artists and repertoire as the Gramophone Editor’s choice winning record released in 2013 on Naïve-Ambroisie. The programme also features Jörg Widmann’s Babylon-Suite.
