Susanna Mälkki returns to the Los Angeles Philharmonic to conduct staged performances of Unsuk Chin’s Alice in Wonderland in collaboration with LA Opera.

Taking place at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the performances on 27 and 28 February mark the West Coast premiere of Chin’s operatic re-telling of Lewis Carroll’s novel. 

Mälkki recently conducted The Philadelphia Orchestra for the first time as well as returning to the San Francisco Symphony. She returns to North America again later this season to make her debut with both The Cleveland Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic.
