Apollon Musagète Quartet appointed BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists

The Apollon Musagète Quartet has been appointed a Radio 3 New Generation Artist by the BBC. The prestigious scheme gives promising young musicians a platform for their talent in London around the UK, including concerts and recordings with the BBC orchestras and appearances at the BBC Proms.

The appointment comes at the start of a high profile season for the Polish quartet. They will make their Carnegie Hall and Washington Library of Congress debuts in November, and tour major venues in Japan in December.

In spring 2013 they return to the Auditorium du Louvre, the Schubertiade at Schwarzenberg and Dortmund’s Konzerthaus. They will make their Rheingau Musik Festival debut next summer.
